Sultan of Swing / Dire Straits 歌詞
コロナ後のギター演奏ではクリーンサウンドにも興味が出てきたのですが、その中で昔から演奏したかったこの曲も練習するようになりました。
頭の中で歌いながら演奏するわけですが、歌詞の意味を調べるととても面白い！
しかし、ネット上の和訳だとしっくりこない部分もあり、先人の知恵を借りたうえで自分なりの和訳をしてみました。意訳な部分も割とあるので注意が必要ですが。

若者が群れて、隅っこではしゃいでる。
茶のバギーパンツに厚底スタイルで決めて、酔っぱらってる
トランペットが吹いてる時でも静かにしやしない。
彼らの言うロックンロールとは違うからね。
そんな中、サルタンは古いジャズのクレオールを演奏してるんだぜ（笑）
